Dian Al Mahri Mosque or commonly known by the name of the Golden Dome Mosque is a mosque that known largest in Southeast Asia. The mosque is a place of worship of prayer for Muslims everyday, the mosque complex in addition also a tourist area of ​​the family and attracted the attention of many people because the domes are said to be gold plated. The mosque construction began in 1999 and opened for public on December 31, 2006 along with Idul Adha 1427 H.The Golden Dome Mosque has an area of ​​60 x 120 meters or about 8,000 square meters. This mosque can accommodate approximately 20,000 worshipers. The building itself consists of mosque main room, mezzanine room, inner courtyard, upper hall, and other functional rooms. The general concept of the building follows typology with features of dome, minaret, inner pages, and the use of decorative decoration. The width of the yard in the mosque measures 45x57 meters.

The main dome shape resembles the dome of the Taj Mahal. The dome has a bottom diameter of 16 meters, a diameter of 20 meters, and a height of 25 meters. While 4 small dome has a diameter of under 6 meters, middle 7 meters, and height 8 meters. In addition inside this mosque there are chandeliers imported directly from Italy weighing 8 tons.

In general, mosque architecture follows the typology of mosque architecture in the Middle East with features of dome, minaret (tower), inner courtyard (plaza), and the use of decorative detail or decoration with geometric and obelisk elements, to reinforce the architectural characteristics of its architecture. The inner courtyard measures 45 x 57 meters and is able to accommodate 8,000 worshipers. Six towers (minarets) are hexagonal, which symbolize the pillars of faith, towering as high as 40 meters. The six towers were clad in gray granite stone imported from Italy with a circular ornament. At its peak is a 24 carat gold-plated mosaic dome. In the interior, this mosque presents towering pillars that towering high to create a grand scale of space. Visiting the Golden Dome Mosque is free of admission, only affordable parking tickets. Supposed to pay for this parking ticket, there are no other charges, but in reality, there are parking attendants at the exit who often ask for extra money.
